Get That Cinema Film Look With Three Good Points
As a student interested in film arts, there are more than a hundred things I want to learn. And one of them is to learn how to achieve that cinematic film look in my videos. I have learned a lot already through self study like creating a simple website and an ecommerce website without the help of a professional like ecommerce site design Dunstable. Videos from YouTube helped a ton. This time, it is my aim to learn how to achieve that cinematic look in my shots by browsing through good video tutorials in YouTube.
Here is a good video tutorial on how to achieve a cinematic look in your videos without really spending additional investments on gears or gadgets to what you already have. Benjamin Jaworksyj shows simple tips and tricks that you can actually do on your own. But of course it works better with a friend or a team of 2.

Good Points To Create a Cinematic Film
Make your camera move. You can use a hand held gimble, it is light weight and easy to use. You can also use a glide cam. Want a no-cost solution? Well, you can use a book. Put the book on a table, camera on top and let it glide while shooting your subject. Really cheap and innovative!
Flat Image. Film in a flat picture profile to achieve more information. Set you camera to s-log 2 if you have a Sony camera. You may find C lock or D lock in other brands of camera. Shoot your subject first. It will look better after grading.
Color Correction with Adobe Premier. Adobe Premier is a great tool to play with colors of your video. Use LUT to achieve a final look.
A combination of all these three points will make a great cinematic film look to your videos. Play around with your camera, check your settings. If you are not sure where to go, search further. While Benjamin has given us good pointers, there is still room to improve from other tutorials. So don’t limit yourself to one. Go ahead and explore other good tutorials and you will learn soon enough. Have fun learning!
